Step 1: Make the face. Bring a portrait you already generated, build one from preset attributes in the Character Builder: Attributes app, or open Character Builder: Muse, pick a starter character, and refine the face with presets or your own prompts. Both sit at mage.space/apps.

Step 2: Lock the identity. Go to Characters, click Create New, upload 1 clear portrait, name your character, and create. That single image is all the lock needs, and your character now appears in the Prompt Bar on every Characters-compatible model.

Step 3: Build the wardrobe and the world. References does for outfits, locations, poses, and objects what Characters does for faces. Click Create New, upload 1 clear image, name it, and it joins the Prompt Bar on the same models as Characters: Mango 2, Mango 3, Mango 3S, Guava and Guava Pro, Grok Image, Nano Banana 2, and GPT Image 2, and it carries into video on Cherry, Cherry Mini, Cherry Pro, Melon, Berry, Berry 2, Raspberry, Grok Video, and Plum.

Step 4: Post the feed with Mango. Mango reads plain natural language, so describe the subject, the action, and the environment first, then add style, lighting, and composition. Call your saved assets by name: @character is doing @pose while wearing @outfit.
